Do you know what your spine really is?

Generally when people think of their spine, they only think of the bones, but the spine is much more than that. Your spine houses most of your central nervous system (the spinal cord and spinal nerves). The nervous system is the master controller of your body.  It transmits messages from the brain to the body, and the body to the brain, to allow a huge number of processes in your body to occur. From movement and co-ordination of your body, to the functioning of your internal organs, healing and beyond.  When outside factors interfere with the nervous system, the messages between the brain and the body are affected, and the body can’t function at its best.

On your first visit, we get to know you.

Our highly trained and experienced Chiropractors will listen to you, and ask questions, to learn how they can help you.  You can expect to discuss your medical history, and any current concerns, and undergo a thorough examination that may include orthopaedic, neurological and Chiropractic tests. If your circumstances require additional information in the form of X-Rays, we will refer you to a Bulk-Billing Radiology practice to have these taken.

Every body is different.

Your Chiropractor will explain to you what your examination has found, and will be able to discuss with you what treatment options are most appropriate for you.

At Chiropractic on Collins we understand that no two people are the same. We all have different needs, different lifestyles and different bodies.  We always take this into account and diagnose and treat each patient carefully on a case by case assessment.

We provide you with practical solutions to improve your health and keep you functioning at your best.

Our practitioners will explain all procedures before starting any treatment so you will feel supported and confident every step of the way.  Our holistic approach to health care may include advice on exercises, lifestyle modifications, nutrition or dietary supplements to complement your Chiropractic Care.
